DEIS Public Hearings Following the release of the US 36 DEIS in August 2007, the public hearings were held in September as part of the public involvement process required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The purpose of the hearings was to allow the public to review the analysis presented in the DEIS and to make official comments which will be addressed in the Final EIS.   We thank you for your participation in this public process!
