Thank you for your interest in meetings for the US 36 Environmental Impact Statement. Final EIS Public Hearings Following the release of the US 36 Final EIS on October 30, 2009, Public Hearings were held on November 16, 18 and 19, 2009 as part of the public involvement process required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The purpose of the hearings was to allow the public to review the analysis presented in the Final EIS and to make official comments which were addressed prior to the Record of Decision, the federal decision document that authorizes project implementation.   The planning process has concluded and there are no other meetings scheduled.
